Classic Auto Mall is Hosting a Project Car Auction
When it’s time to find a project car, look no further than Classic Auto Mall.
Americans seem to have a love/hate relationship with their cars. We love them when they are on the road and working right, and hate them when they interrupt our daily schedules.
For some people, a car is just a way to get from point A to point B, but for a great many people they are an icon, a representation of something like a dream. Whether it’s Happy Days inspired by an old Chevy or something sporty that has you singing “I Can’t Drive 55,” a car — the right car—can bring back cherished memories or dreams of what might have been.

But on Sept. 19, they are trying something new: a used car auction full of barn finds! Many of the cars from the collections that will be auctioned that day are already available for viewing on the mall’s website or out front in the parking lot. The auction starts at 11 a.m. and will last until about 3 p.m. There is no bidders fee and no reserve on any of these cars. See a car that you love and the only thing standing in your way are the other car lovers. The mall will even host a breakfast buffet for consignors and registered bidders. These cars are not the type of thing collectors are usually scouting for at Classic Auto Mall. Some of these cars don’t run. A lot of them don’t have a title. All of them need a car lover to restore them to their former glory. Details on the car’s condition, as much as it is known, are available on the website.
